Message before redirect

Hi guys,

Been trawling around for ages and can't find the answer.

When submitting a form I want a mesasge to display first i.e. "thanks for contacting us we will get back to you" then after a few seconds redirect to the homepage. If I add the redirect in the form wizard then this just redirects straight away without displaying the message.

Idealy it would be good having a pop up box with the message while the webpage redirects in the background, like did have in Facileforms before i swapped over to Chrono.

There are a couple of threads here on using the Joomla header code (I think) to show a Thank You page and then redirect. I don't recall seeing one using a popup though. (You could also use Joomla System message to display at tee top of the redirected page)
