Is there actually a "Time" feature in DateTimePicker?

Hello all,

I got my calendar working nicely. But am wondering if there is actually a "Date" feature included, and how it is activated?

For example, I would like someone to be able to select August 1, 2009 at 1:30.

So my specific question is does the DateTimePicker have the ability to create a time dropdown list that might, for example show 9:00am 9:30:am, 10:00am -- etc?

Or do I need to manually createa a time dropdown list?

Thanks

Hi Rowby,

I don't think that there is a time-picker on the Aeron Date-picker.

The default Joomla date-picker does have one but it's not very pretty. I like the time-spinner that I used in the Watchman Plugin - if you look at the Plugin config for dates an dtimes you can see both, the date & time pickers at the top have time enabled, the time spinners are below (these are set to 5 min intervals but that is configurable).

Hi Bob,

Not sure what you mean by the Watchman Plugin -- is there a url where I can see what it looks like. And does the Watchman Plugin come with ChronoEngine?

Thanks!

Hi Rowby,

In the Forms Manager, select the checkbox by any form then click the Watchman link in the left hand column (under Plugins).

Hi Bob,

I activated the watchman plugin but am not sure what to do next.

To clarify, I want a drop down (or similar -- a spinner I guess sounds good) time selector on the form.

Like a time you'd see on a site like this:

http://www.avis.com/car-rental/avisHome/home.ac

Note the "9:00am" drop down list. (It could be a spinner, but you get the idea.)

Does watchman do that? And if so what would be the next step, now that I've activated the plugin.

Thanks

Hi Rowby,

No, Watchman doesn't do that - but there are examples of date-pickers with a time-picker, and the time splinner on the Watchman configuration pages (the second tab I think).

Hi Bob,

I see the plug-in tab, and I see the Watchman listed -- but I can't find the Configuration Pages. Where would that be?

Thanks!

Hi Rowby,

In the Forms Manager, select the checkbox by any form then click the Watchman link in the left hand column (under Plugins).

Then click the Dates & Times tab
