{chronoform}form_name{/chronoform}: NOT WORKING

LoriMo 26 Jun, 2009
I installed RC5.1 component and RC5 module and plugin. The component is enabled and the module and plugin are listed in the Extensions Manager. I restored a form that I created in RC4.1 called "Contactnfo". But when I type {chronoform}ContactInfo{/chronoform} in my article editor, the form doesn't appear on the front end. I have checked the html in my editor and there aren't any tags inside the {chronoform} {/chronoform} brackets. I've disable the "Tip of the Day". What am I doing wrong? This form worked with RC4.1.

Hi Fabio,

Indeed you need to enter this :
{chronoform}test3{/chronoform}
in the article body and make sure you have the plugin installed and enabled!

How cals plugin?
I have installed chronofroms, multilanguage plugin and chronocoments. The module Chronocomments don't show something at all.
Chronocomments plugin is enabled

If to see in chronorms manager, only multilanguage is enabled. Should I do else something?

I have created page http://www.anre.lt/index.php/en/component/content/article/54-forms

Hi Beata,

The correct syntax for the ChronoForms plugin is shown in the Plugin Configuration page

This mambot must have ChronoForms component in order for it to work. You just need to put the name of the form you want to show between : {chronocontact}&{/chronocontact}, Example: {chronocontact}form1{/chronocontact} where form1 is the form name which will be displayed!!

Hi Beata,

Then most likely you don't have the ChronoForms Mambot/Plugin installed or enabled.

It seems I have it:

JInstaller::install: There is already a folder called '/home/anre/domains/anre.lt/public_html/plugins/content/chronocontact.php'. Please initially check whether:
• the Extension is already installed
• the file names in the XML file are spelled correctly
• there are no XML files listed inside the extension.xml file
• all of the files (not including XML files) are correctly listed in the extension.xml file and there are no duplicate entries
• there is an empty folder listed from a previous installation attempt

Hi Beata,

In that case maybe it isn't enabled.

Look at my image

No more plugins there are related with chronoforms
GreyHead 19 Nov, 2009
Hi Beata,

Good, that's removed the obvious causes, so something else is stopping it working.

Do you have the latest version installed?

Bob
Beata 19 Nov, 2009
I think yes, because I have download this month

Hi Beata,

Good, please email or PM me a SuperAdmin login and I'll take a quick look if you like.

Hi Beata,

You have the Joomla 1.0 version of the plugin installed, it won't work with Joomla 1.5. Please uninstall it and re-install the latest version from the link I posted earlier.

Thank you, Bob 🙂

I have uninstalled and installed a new plugin ChronoForms_Plugin_V3.1_RC5.2.zip
http://www.anre.lt/index.php/en/component/content/article/54-forms

Thank you very much !
And what you think about my multilanguage plugin, why it don't work? Of course these is another, our old thread about multilanguage plugin

Although I have now another possibility, - translate form which is in the article...
But is interesting about plugin
