Plain Text emails still use WYSIWYG editor

Hi,

When I choose "Email Format = Plain Text", the "Emails Template" tab still shows a WYSIWYG editor. Shouldn't this be a regular HTML textarea instead?

Thanks,
Leo

Hi Leo,

yes, you should disable the editor manually though in the Email properties box too!

Max

PS The Email Format setting only changes the format of the Email itself : GreyHead

Awesome. I set "Use Template Editor" to No and it works perfectly. Thanks Max

Thanks Max.

I had the same problem and this post was helpful.

I did notice with my Firefox version I needed to set the "Use Template Editor" to No, hit apply and then save the form first.

It did not switch on the fly and when it went back in voila it was in text mode.

Cheers,

Paul

Hi Paul,

You are correct, it can't be switched on the fly! this is for some low level code issues related to the editor as I remember!

Cheers
