User Joomla Registration not working

Surya 23 May, 2009
Hello, sirs,

I cannot get the joomla registration function to work. I followed the instructions of PDF documentation and tested to post the form. Yet user is not added on the joomla user system. Does anyone have any advices?

Surya

Hi Max,

Thank you for your reply! I checked and followed the tutorial you gave, but still not working...
I am using the recent versions of Joomla and CF. Joomla version is 1.5.10, and CF version is V3.1 RC5.0.
I wrote some codes in "Extra before onsubmit code" and "Extra after onsubmit code" in Joomla registration plugin to test if the system recognize it. But it does not work.
I also tested the debug mode in the form, and it says "Form passed the plugins step (if enabled) OK". So I wonder why it does not work.

Surya

Hi Surya,

I found yesterday that the Extra Code boxes are not working in the Joomla Registration Plugin.

Hi Surya,

As Bob said, the extra blocks does not work but the plugin should work, make sure the plugin is enabled and configured correctly, is it ?

Hi Max,
By reading tutorial you gave, I noticed that in my joomla registration plugin misses "Override joomla Allow User Registration." I don´t know if this is the cause of problem.
Email function of the form is working, but user is not added. Email function of joomla registration plugin is not working. Do I need to write something at On Submit code of the form?

Hi Surya,

This option will be available in the coming release!

if the user is not added then something is wrong in your config, make sure your global joomla registration is enabled and that you have everything else setup correctly, you may use the error messages code to see what error happens after submit!

Cheers
