Here's Mori again, good afternoon🙂

Is there a way to accept 'anything' as a file field extension? Having 6 different boxes trying to accept image files and documents and zipped files...there are so many I might as well accept anything.
Is there a way? Maybe if I don't put any extensions? Or all?

There isn't a way? Would you care adding that functionality🙂

Hi Mori,

There used to be but it was removed - it leaves you far too vulnerable to people uploading nasty script files.

Might be possible to hack the core to add a default list though.

But Bob, why take away the freedom of choice? If people choose to be vulnerable, why not let them? Just make sure the default is not vulnerable and all is well.

Lassez faire is fine in theory . . . until someone's site gets hacked and they protest loudly that it was your fault for not stopping them. . .
