textfields are mixed colors and sticking

Some of my fields in a chronoforms form are turning up yellow, and some white. It seems to be random, usually after I click submit with empty fields, so you get a validation error message. But after reload it sticks. Oddly, this is only occurring in Firefox. in IE, they are all white and stay white. I know - hard to beleive Firefox has a bug that IE doesn't ;') I'm assuming this is a Firefox bug, or chrono CSS that is working in IE or not in firefox (or maybe the reverse, if they are All supposed to be yellow.) Here is the URL: http://usheavy.com/credit.html

Try sending the form empty so you get validation. I think the colors stick, then. Afterwards, you can't get rid of the mixed color in firefox. IE will stay white. Actually, I think they are supposed to be yellow, accoring to Firebug. I don't even care if IE is dropping the CSS color, or Firefox isn't. I just want them all the Same color 😛

UPDATE: I decided to take the easy way out and just overrode the wierd mixed colors with an !important CSS rule. I'd still like to know if anyone else is seeing this in Firefox, though.

Hi cybervigilante,

This is probably the Google Toolbar in your browser telling you that it can autocomplete these fields (or something similar).

Thanks. That seemed to be the problem. I was going to get rid of the !important, but then it occurred to me that everyone with a google toolbar would figure it was my bad design 😛 Sheesh, bad enough you have to look out for IE quirks - now the google toolbar is on the attack.
