Hello,

I have created a from using Chronoforms and works great. Now I want to display it in an article, using the chronocontact plugin.

When I enable the plugin, the whole site hangs.

Can someone please, help?

Hi Amarin,

Which versions of ChronoForms and the Plugin are you using?

Is the site on-line - if so please post a link to the page with the problem article?

Hi GreyHead,

I use version 3.1 RC2 of ChronoForms and version V3.1 RC5 of the Plugin. These two are the only ones that seem to be available for download currently.

The site is on-line -

http://spain-holiday-apartment.net/component/content/article/34-apartment/56-luxury-apartment-los-arqueros-golf-nr-banus-costa-del-sol-spain-nr-beach.html?directory=63

Be aware that is the whole site that hangs out when I enable the plugin, so I have disbaled the plugin and the link above will only display the call to the form, but not the form itself.

In the meantime, I used a plugin that displays component as content, to display the form. It works great. It is a plugin called "Component as Content" 1.5.1 29/1/2009 by Omar Muhammed. The sintaxis is

{component}option=com_chronocontact&chronoformname=new{/component}

You can see this in action in http://spain-holiday-apartment.net/component/content/article/34-apartment/57-luxury-apartment-los-arqueros-golf-nr-banus-costa-del-sol-spain-nr-beach.html?directory=63.

Thank you very much,

Amarin

Hi Amarin,

The current release of ChronoForms is RC5.0 available for download here. The RC3 version won't work with the RC5 plugin if this is what you have.

You seem to have the form twice on the second page you linked to and I couldn't see a Submit button.

The abovementioned plugin was not able to display date pickers, so I change to another by Klas Berlic that works well, except that the bottom of the form disappears. In my case I have a submit button at the bottom, which was almost invisible. To make it visible, I just added a "dummy" text field below the submit form. This text field is not shown, but it doesn´t matter.

Of course, I have only made a workaround, using a third party plugin. I would be very happy if I could make the chronocontact plugin work.
Thank you
