Is there anyway to get ChronoForms to use another template in the site and not the default template?
or do I have to make an article and use the plugin or the mambot?

First, make sure there is a menu-link for your form.

Next, head over to your Template setup in backend (Extensions -> Template). Select the template you wish to use for your form.
In the Menu Assignment box, check "Select from List", and locate the menu link for your form. Save changes.

Done.
