Setup email help.

Hardyman 27 Apr, 2009
I just installed CF on Joomla 1.5.10 hosted on a GoDaddy Linux server. So far everything is smooth. I installed CF, no issues. When I went to go make a new form, I have issues. I can make the form and set all rules except the email info. I am new this this upgrade and can't seem to get the settings to save.

As I said. I am new to this update, my last CF install just had text fields to add the email info. I'm sure I need; To:, Subject:, From-Email:, & From-Name:. That gives me a green box. Assuming that's good, I hit save. Nothing happens, nothing saves, and the page doesn't reload.

GreyHead - if you're out there. I don't think I did, but I must have messed up somewhere.

Hi Hardyman,

I think need to save the Email setup using the Apply button in the Properties box first.

I have similar issue:
when I press Apply or Save, nothing happens (just url changes from index2.php?option=com_chronocontact to index2.php?option=com_chronocontact#
when I press second time, everything saves and is OK.

so answer is simple - just press this button twice😉

p.s.using last chronoforms and joomla 1.5., bug experienced using Firefox and Opera

This is still happening to me. I tried the apply button. Everything looks find. The upper-right Save/Apply just does nothing, No matter how many times I click it.

SOLVED::

Safari isn't compatible. Firefox works great! I didn't think it was your component. I like the new email feature, there wasn't anything wrong with it before. This version takes it to a "Whole Notha Level".

Cheers!
