How to display the component with same article look and feel

ratamaster 17 Apr, 2009
Hi
I'm using the component:
Chrono Contact--------3.0 STABLE--------17.09.2008--------Chronoman
And plugin ( mambot ):
chronocontact---------0.8/V3.0 Stable---20 Sep 2008-------Chrono_Man

Joomla version: 1.5.9

Objective :
to display the component on the content template area with the same look and feel as a article has.
I don't want to use plugin because I found that it has some bugs ( or at least I read/understood this in this forum ).
To achieve this I'm executing the url: index.php?option=com_chronocontact&Itemid=100&lang=en

Problem:
I'm not displaying the header title, and there is other style problems, this is because I'm runing the component as the view I think.
I defined on the menu manager a title for this component, but I don't see it on the frontpage.

Which could be the solution ?

Thanks in advance.

Hi ratamaster,

Sorry - I've got nothing useful to suggest.

Well.. I think that I could hack the component html output, but I don't want to do such thing.
Do you think that my approach ( not what I wrote about the hack, but the component usage ) is ok?
Is there a better approach, for example to use the plugin ( and deal with its bugs ) ?
Is there really bugs with the plugin ?

Thanks bob.

Hi ratamaster,

If your not in a great hurry I'd go with the module, I know that Max has some plans to fix some of the problems there. Hopefully in the next release or two.

Ok, now I'm using the form as a plugin ( inside an article ).
1) Next image is the form before submition, it looks very nice:

2) But after submition, and captcha error, I see this:

I think that the problem could be that after submit the form ( captach error or not ), the componet view is displayed, and not the article plugin. I would like to achieve the same look and feel in any case.
How could I fix the marked errrors (second image)?

1) Could you tell me when the new release will be out?
2) So if I'm not wrong, what I described in the images is the normal behaviour, if so, could you please recommend me how could I solve this? maybe change the component output?

Thanks
