maidamardones 15 Apr, 2009
Hi,

I have a problem with the tables. I have created the tables for 2 different forms, but when I click in "Show saved Data" there is no data saved.
I have submited plenty of times the form, but still it do not show me de data. The thing is that I receive all data in my email but it is not saved in the tables I have created.
You can see the forms here:
http://pireillc.com/index.php?option=com_chronocontact&Itemid=8
http://pireillc.com/index.php?option=com_chronocontact&Itemid=15

What can I do?

Thanks very much,

Maida.

Hi Maida,

Your form looks OK. Do you have a DB Connection enabled on the DB Connection tab?

Hi bob,

I have seen the tutorial of DB Connectivity but I don´t know why I don´t see that tab. Here is an image of what I see. Do you know what do I need to do to see that tab?

Thanks,

Maida

Hi Maida,

That looks like a very old version of ChronoForms - which versions of CF & Joomla are you using?

I am using Joomla 1.59 and Chronoforms V2.
Do I have to download the new version? or Can I update my version so I don´t loose the forms I already have?
Is the version I am using the problem?

thanks,

Maida

Hi Maida,

There is no upgrade script. Take backup copies of all of your forms and all of the Chrono . . . database tables.

I'd then set up a temporary new Joomla site, install the latest ChronoForms release and recreate the forms there, you can do them pretty quickly bu copying and pasting the code either from the current site or from the cfbak files. Get the forms up ad de-bugged, then you can uninstall the old version from the live site, install the new version and move the forms back over.

Sounds much worse than it actually is!
