Unwanted inline background-color style

jilbert 13 Apr, 2009
I have been chasing this problem all day and I give up.

When viewing my form in Firefox 3.0, three input boxes (name, email, phone) get an inline style added to them that gives the box a background color of yellow (background-color: rgb(255, 255, 160)) and an inset border (see - http://breakthroughnm.com/index.php?option=com_chronocontact&Itemid=65). This is not happening in IE.

I've tried adding my own inline styles into the form -- they get overridden. I've turned off your styles -- but they're not the cause. I've done a full text search of all the sources on my site and cannot find a file that has the text "background-color: rgb".

I am using Joomla 1.5.10 and RT Chromatophore template (heavily modified), ChronoForms 3.0 (stable). I've attached the form.

I'm sure it will turn out to be a very simple thing that I'm overlooking, but I sure can't figure it out. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Jilbert,

I can't see any yellow colors, they are white boxes with black borders inside a white form!

Hi Jilbert,

This sounds as though you may have Google Auto-Fill or something similar enabled in FireFox.

LOL! That was it. Learn something new everyday.

I never realized that Firefox would actually modify my source --

Thanks!

BTW -- As much as I hate re-learning something, ver.3.0 rocks!

Hi jilbert,

Great, try to get V3.1 because its better, you may wait a release or 2 if you are in no rush!

Cheers
