Hi,
I just installed Chronoforms on my site. I love the component, but I'm having trouble when using the edit functions in the form manager and the form wizard. When I click on the "new email container icon" nothing happens. Same when I try to click on the "insert field" button on the "after form submission" page. I'm using:
Chronoforms v3.1 RC4.0
Firefox 3.0.8
Any help would be awesomely appreciated.
Thanks!
~Ben
Hi Ben,
I have no problem with this in FF 3.0.9 :-( Sounds like there could be a JavaScript problem - or some plugin conflict in FF - or an installation fault in ChronoForms. Do you have another browser installed that you could test in?
Probably also worth updating to the 4.11 ChronoForms release as that fixed some bugs in the 4.0 release (though no-one reported this particular one that I remember).
Bob
Hi Ben,
Please upgrade to 4.11 and before you open the wizard make sure to clear all your website and browser cache!

I'm having the same problem.
I have:
Joomla v1.5.11
Chronoforms V3.1 RC5.1
I have attempted:
Reinstalling and reinstalling
Trying in safari
But nothing happens when I click on that button.
Hi hamela,
how did you create the form ? using the wizard ?

Hi, I just installed Chronoforms, thanks for the component, on my site and I have a similar problem.
I can get an email container, insert the various boxes, enable with YES and apply, but when I go to the forms manager under emails is says: enabled 0, disabled 0.
When I click on the form name and go to the 'Setup Emails' tab there is nothing there!
:?
Running
ChronoForms_V3.1_RC5.1
Firefox 3.0.11
Joomla 1.5.11
php 5.2.5 x64
apache 2.2.11 x64
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!
Hi Chris,
Please upgrade to RC5.2 and make sure you run the "Update SQL" page after installation and retest and let me know!
Cheers

Like everyone else, I like to say this compenant is awesome. But, my knowledge is very limited and it is hard for me to see what might be the problem.
I cannot add a new container. I created a form for one of my own forms. At first I thought it was because of my form. But, I created a form with the wizard and and could not add new email container to this form either
Forgot to tell you this is on two sites. On one, I have 3 forms. Two of the allowed me to put catainer in and they work. The third form will not allow me to add the email container.
Also,on the second site, the second site I cannot put a email container on any of the forms.
Just figured out what my problem was. I am using Explorer 9. Once I changed to Fire Fox it worked. So I need to somehow go back to Explorer 8. Hope this help someone else.
Hi hsvdiane,
There are some odd conflicts between MooTools and IE9 :-(
For development purposes you can get round it like this: [list=1]
In IE9 click F12 to open the Developer Tools.
In the header bar of the Develop Tools click the 'Browser Mode' tab
Select 'Internet Explorer 8'[/list:o]
This seems to bypass the JavScript error and lets you create a new Email Setup from IE9.
Bob
PS The Developer Tools are really promising addition in IE9 :-)
