Captcha problem

Please,
I’ve installed Chrono comments 1.2 on Joomla 1.5.10, but capcha code don’t appears
I tried it on local, with xampp and it works well.
So I’ve upgrade permissions to chrono comments folder and chrono_verification.php, but It doesn’t works any more.
I’ve tried to open the image with url, but message in Mozilla is:
"The image …/components/com_chronocomments/chrono_verification.php cannot be displayed because it contains errors."
Do you have some ideas about?

My permissions to folders are 755 and 644 for the files and its working fine.
