Forms Wizard - Apply button freezes

I am using your tutorial to create my first form. I add a text box and set the properties and then click on apply and nothing happens. The only ChronoForms install done is the component Chronoforms V3.1 RC4.0.zip and right now I am working on my test (localhost) site. The old version was slow but at least it did not freeze.

Nothing visible happens when you click Apply (perhaps it should) - can you still save the form with the save icon?

Which browser/version are you using?

you may try RC4.11 as well, very easy 2 seconds upgrade, follow the instructions in the download page!
