Hello,
I have a website where I'm using Gavick Tabs Manager to assign different articles to different tabs.
I have installed Chronoforms V3.1 RC4.0.zip, ChronoForms Mambot_V0.9_V3.1RC2.zip, and mod_chronocontact_V1.2_V3.1RC2.zip.
They are all working well, but the problem is when I try to use it inside the tab.
Gavick Tabs Manager accepts either Articles or Modules within the tabs, but when I use an article with the mambot, all I see on the page is the code {chronocontact}form1{/chronocontact}. When I try to use a module it's even worse, since it crashes Apache.
Any ideas? Can the mambot conflict with Gavick's code?
I have enabled the mambot on the plugin management area and within the form. It works outside the tabs!!
Any help is very much appreciated!
I am attaching a screen shot, maybe it can be useful to help identify my problem.
On this shot, the area within the red rectangle is the Gavick Tabs Manager.
Under it you can see the form working as a module.
I have tried many different variations of setup, and it still doesn't show up when inside the tab...
Any ideas are welcome!
Thanks in advance.

Hi lelias2k,
I don't know anything about Gavicks Tab Manager or how it works. I just took a quick look at the demo site and it seems to load a lot of compressed JavaScript files - there could be a conflict anywhere. Sorry, but not much we can do to help with that.
Bob
Thanks so much for taking the time and looking into it.
Do you have any other tab modules you would suggest?
Hi lelias2k,
What do you want the Tabs module to do? The standard Joomla tabs setup (as used in the Forms Manager) is basic but works well.

OK, I'm half way there...🙂
I got the form to work within Gavick Tabs Manager. I used the "Plugin In Module" extension.
Basically what it does is allow me to use the {chronocontact}{/chronocontact} command and place it inside a module. Then all I need to do is is tell the tab to display that module position.
Now my problem is how to get it to show the form AND an image... lol
Wish me luck guys.
PS: The form also works fine using other tab modules, but they don't allow me to use an image instead of text for the tab, so I have to work with Gavick's solution instead... well, I guess if it was easy it wouldn't be fun, right?🙂
Hi lelias2k,
if its an image click which will switch some content container then you can do this easily without any module

Hi Max,
I'm not sure I understand your comment. Are you referring to the image I wanted inside the tab or the images I used instead of the tab text (the on the tabs names)?
On the other hand, I was able to solve my problem by making the image horizontal, instead of vertical. This way it's now on top of the form.
What I was looking for was a way to have the image float left, but after many tries I gave up and went the easy road. At least it works!
Thanks everyone for the comments!!
Hi lelias2k,
I thought you need 3 images to simply act like a tab, so each one iwll display a different content below it when clicked, this can be done without the need to any tabs or hard work!
glad you made it!🙂
