Navigation disappeared after Anti Spam check

moreiter 02 Apr, 2009
Hi,

my forms are working well despite this little issue.
If the verfication code is missing or wrong the page is reloaded with the red alert box, but my navigations on top and left side are gone.
The DIVs are there, but empty.
Why?

Thx in advance.[m]

Hi moreiter,

Can you post a link please? Are you using the Mambot/Plugin to display the form?

Hi moreiter,

This has something to do with your template and URL set-up. If you go to the default URL for the form
index.php?option=com_chronocontact&chronoformname=feedbackEN the template framework does not show up. Yes on the menu link index.php?option=com_chronocontact&Itemid=80 it does.

When you re-show the form on an error it reverts to the first form of url.

Hi - looks like I'm having this same problem. What I'm not seeing is how to change the default URL - this seems to be system generated.

URL: http://medallurgy.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=49&Itemid=70

This is what the menu links to, but the Forms Manager gives this as the URL: index.php?option=com_chronocontact&chronoformname=Register

I'm sure I'm just missing something here - any help is appreciated.

Thanks,

Dan

Hi dan,

Are you using the ChronoForms module or PlugIn? I sugest that you put the text and header into the form and make this a ChronoForms page instead.

Ok, I added the form without the plugin, but the navigation is still disappearing. I've added the link to my menu using the chronoform article, and made sure to include them in the Menu Assignment in my menu module. Redirect URL leads to my Thank You article, which does display, unless there's an error state, of course. I think this one is over my head, but I'll take one more crack at it, if you have any other suggestions for solutions.

Thanks,

Dan
