How Do I Add A Reset Button?

warriorgov79 28 Mar, 2009
I would like to add a reset button to the left of the submit button on the form. I understand how to do this within < form > tags, but the comment-form.html.php file uses div containers with special classes and javascript instead. What would be the proper code? I also know that I would need to add a line in the language file for the button text. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Hi warriorgov,

I didn't try a normal reset button with that but if a normal one didn't work then we need a JS one which will emulate it by clearing all the parent form fields, I will move this to the suggestions forums!

of course if you want to try it then this can be added to the files in the templates folder of Chronocomments!
