500 Internal Server BUT...

headghogg 25 Mar, 2009
Hi
I have read as many posts on this as possible but they all seem to refer to errors while submitting or actually using the forms.

My query is that once the user has submitted the form (registration type) everything is ok…the visitor receives the email and asks to confirm registration and after confirming the link all is OK…the backend shows the user and as enabled but when the user tries to log on he gets the 500 Internal Server Error?

Using the standard registration process within Joomla (1.5) all works and even using a regform using Community Builder this also works without problems…just when anyone uses a Chrono form to register.

Any ideas
Mark

Hi Mark,

which Chronoforms version and Joomla version ? try to open the user record in database and see if there is anything strange!

Hi

Thanks for coming back to me…

Joomla is 1.5.9
Chrono Forms V3.1_RC2

When you check the records in the standard Joomla User Manager the record exists and all looks fine

Using phpmyadmin I look at the jos_users table and the records there and all the records seem just like any other that was registered in the same way

very strange, try with RC3 ? are you sure that you used the "joomla registration" plugin and that you followed the tutorial strictly ?
