What happened to the "Link to menu" tab

highrockmedia 23 Mar, 2009
I have not used Chronoforms in a while.

I remember in the old 2.5 version for Joomla 1.0.x, there was a functionality within the editing of a form to link to a Joomla front end menu such as main menu, top menu etc...

I do not see that functionality anymore in the new 3.0 version for Joomla 1.5.

Any ideas of how to create a menu item for a form so it appears automatically in a menu of my choice whether it be main menu, top menu etc...?

This has been removed because its not needed, you can do this directly through the Joomla menu manager, pick a menu item of type Chronoforms or URL and do it!

wow that will be missed. If you pick a menu of type Chronoforms, it links to the component and not the actual form which will result in a broken link, correct?

Hi Brewster,

No, a new ChronoForms type menu takes a form name parameter - the field is at the top right of the menu editor pane.
