typical newb. subj. I know, but I've had a hard time finding a component that can..

here's the outline of what I'm looking for..

I want to create a calculator for fertilizers. Now I have all calculations etc. and the design. all I need is a way to create it in joomla.

A form which allows the user to input his or her wanted values, size of container etc etc.
and then get a result based on this input..

Can ChronoForms support this?

Yes it can - but that may not be the helpful answer that it sounds.

ChronoForms is a framework that will support pretty much any combination of HTML + PHP + JavaScript, but it is just a framework - it can't write the code for you - though it has some excellent tools to help along the way.

Probalby the best way to test is to pick some small but typical part of your calculation, build a form with 2 or 3 fields and see if you can get it to work for you.
