Weird SnapShot Spamming in Email - Help!

cswebdev 19 Mar, 2009
I am not sure if this is something that I have done or not. When I create a form, following the steps in the Form Wizard, everything seems fine. I do a test run and submit a form, which I have set up to send emails to me. Everything works fine, but when I get the email, there is some weird snapshot spamming code. A while back I did download a snapshot plugin to my FireFox that allows me to hover over a link and it show me a snapshot. It makes it really hard to actually read what is in the email. Then I go to edit the email part of the form, and the code is in there as well. If I delete it and save it, and try again, it just comes back. Does anyone have any idea why this may be doing this?

Hi cswebdev,

I've no real idea - it sounds like a PlugIn but I don't know why that would trigger in an email. Can you post a link to the SnapShot site - maybe that will give a clue?

Thanks for such a quick response. The website to download the snapshot thing is: http://www.snap.com/. Here is a screenshot of the email I get. Weird SnapShot Spamming in Email - Help! image 1. This time i created the form and left the emails templates blank, and it happened the first time. I went in and cleared the html in the emails templates, and submitted another test, and it came back perfect, no snapshot stuff. Just thought it was weird. I guess I should uninstall that plugin on my firefox. Thanks.
