datepick not working with mambo

daffy 18 Mar, 2009
I make a nice little form with two date-picks on it. It all works fine on its own and as a menu item.
I then try to include it into an otherwise simple article using the mambo.

The text boxes etc all seem to be there and the 'required entry' validation works but
The little calendars do not get drawn.

Hi Dave,

Most likely a path issue - the form works OK outside the Mambot (if you just browse directly to it)?

Is there a 'red cross' image not found message - or just nothing?

Is the form accessible on-line so we can take a look?

Thanks Bob.
I notice further that the shape of the submit button implies that the chronoforms css is not getting through.
Yes it works fine on its own but I do remember that the little calendars were css dependent.

Hi Dave,

One for Max I think - I'm not sure that the Mambot/PlugIn has been fully updated for the latest version of ChronoForms.

Hi Dave,

there is Mambot V0.9 which should work with V3.1 RC2, make sure you have cache cleared, if its still not working then its too late to fix it now as RC3 is coming out soon and there will be a new mambot anyway!

OK so I have installed RC3 and hurrah ! the mambot seems to work to put the datepicks ok into content article.
All I want now to make me very happy is that the dates are available in a compatible format to MySql !!
yyyy-mm-dd;

Hi Dave,

date format can be changed in the general tab!

Cheers

Thanks Max! That is wonderful.
The only thing to note is that the format must be set as Y-m-d, Other things like yyyy-mm-dd produce queer results.

Thanks again
