Add red colour to "This is a required field." text

How do I add red colour to "This is a required field." when its visible. As well as other validation text.
Pls advice.

Thank you Max. I tried to find it but I didn't see.
Anyway I tried to edit style1.css but not worked.
When I add red color it change whole text to red.
I want to change only "This is a required field." text and other given validation info.

Pls advice.
