How to enable comment for uncategorized articles ?

Hi there,
I just bought your license for chronocomments for my upcoming site. It works perfectly for all articles within sections and categories but i ran into a problem. I have a guestbook page which is uncategorized. bcoz its url is sitename.com/guestbook.htm and it does not fall into any section/category format. How do i get chronocomments working on that page ? it is very important for me to have comment on this one page as it is guestbook. So please show me how can i enable comment for uncategorized pages.

can't you see it in the "articles" list in the parameters page ?

Hi Max,
Unfortunately, I don't see any of the uncategorized articles in the article list. All I see is a list with section : Category : article titles in articles window.
I spent almost 1 hour just to make sure that they are not hiding anywhere in articles list ...(i have about 4500 articles and your display window is less than 1 inch🙂 ...
so what do i do ?

please replace the file under administrator\components\com_chronocomments\elements/articles.php with the one attached!

after replacing with new articles.php on my test server, it gives me this error on parameters page.

That was perfect ! Thanks a lot. (I was bit worried as the site goes live next week.)
Did you find any workaround on replacing/adding url field with location field ? It's not that important but would be nice.
Also I want to ask one more thing, Where do I enable or disable avatar showing up in posted comments ? I don't see it in parameters.

no way to disable the avatar noew except by editing one of the template files!

Hi, thank you very much for perfect extension.
The only problem with uncategorize articles. I have tried both files you have sent in previous messages, but have this allert in front end:

Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in C:\wamp\www\Joomlademo\plugins\content\ChronoComments.php on line 140

I have plugin installed.

I went live and when I clic on the button to add a coment all uncategorize articles giving me an editing window for putting a new article instead a coment form.

As i can see this problem is quite widespread, as I've faced the same recently....
Such an annoying!!!😫
