Thank you for your very good products. I'm using ChronoForms and really like it so today I decided to try out ChronoComments. It also looks very good but I decided to uninstall it. When I did uninstall the ChronoForms component, it indicated that the uninstall was successful but when I tried to go back into my website, I couldn't get in because there were errors. So I reinstalled ChronoForms again and I can get to my website just fine again. I'm just wondering if there is additional steps beyond the regular uninstalling of the component to avoid the errors?
Hi lopnorth,
Of course no errors should happen, what errors do you get ? did you uninstall both the component and the plugin of chronocomments ?
Regards
Max

Hello.
I've installed the ChronoComments for a "test drive" on my development/test web site a few days ago.
Then, I've uninstalled the ChronoComments late yesterday -- all my web pages (but "administrator" pages) went blank right after uninstall.
These are the PHP errors from the error_log:
I've read (on the forum) that there's a similar issue with ChronoForms. I'm a bit concerned. I'd purchased, installed and use ChronoForms.
I'm looking forward for any assistance.
Thank you.

Hi anv2009,
I don't know anything much about ChronoComments but from these messages it looks as though you may have uninstalled the component but left a plugin installed an published - is that possible?
I'm not aware of an current problem with ChronForms uninstalling - but you would need to uninstall or disable the the plugin, module & chronoConnectivity if you uninstall the main component.

Hi Bob,
I didn't have to install plugin separately. Was plugin installed as a part of a component install? Is it part of the "ChronoComments 1.2 Express Install.zip" file?
I cannot answer your question now. I have restored the development/test site after it went no-op after the component uninstall to its pre-ChronoComments state.
Thank you for your prompt response.
