Sorry if this is already addressed somewhere; I couldn't find it. I have the verification parameter set so that all have to verify using the link from the email they receive. When someone enters a comment, they get the "NOT_PUBLISHED=Thank you, your comment will be published once reviewed." message rather than the "NOT_VERIFIED=Thank you, We have sent you an Email with a verification link, please..." Although the commenter DOES receive an email to verify, he wouldn't know to check for it.
How do I get the commenter to get the proper message upon posting? Thanks!
Hi Dean,
did you set the comments to be all default to "published" ? because the published check is done before the verification one!( which may not be logical yes, so I will copy this to the bugs)
Cheers,

That was the problem. I had "New Comments Default to:" Unpublished. If I change to Published, the poster will get the correct feedback message. However, it will post automatically, which I don't want. Thank you for investigating this.
I see that the system still sends the verification request if "New Comments Default to:" is set to Unpublished. Until this is resolved, it seems like a good work-around is just to augment the language file with additional directions to ask the poster verify their post to the NOT_PUBLISHED line. True?
Hi Dean,
Thats true, until a new release is available and all files are updated automatically when you apply it!
