I am experiencing the following error and have narrowed it down to the creation of the table in database. There are no errors with the fields themselves. Any light you can shed would be great!

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '$', expecting T_VARIABLE in /home/campshoo/public_html/components/com_chronocontact/chronocontact.php(41) : eval()'d code on line 33

My guess is that one (or more) of your input names has a space in it - if I'm correct try replacing it with an underscore and drop and re-create the database table.
