Registration

mac 15 Feb, 2009
Hello,
may I can ask some questions about the registration on this page?
Is it right, that the registration-form ist the default joomla registration?
If I klick here on the button registration on the site 'Create an account' without any outer inputs, then the required fields are red market (templates/system/css/general.css).
On my website I employ the joomla! 1.5.9 default login/registration modul, but there is no error message or error-marking when I test the site and give no input in the required fields.
I don't now, where the defect is.
I hope you can help me to find the wrong position in a data file.
Regards
Mac

Hi Mac,

As far as I can see it is the standard Joomla User Component registration page and the template is ja-purity. The validation code appears to be standard Joomla validation using media/system/js/validate.js

I hope this helps a bit.

Thanks Bob!
Currently I look at my validate.js
There must be something wrong - I can't see it, but it must be so.

Is it possible, that you can give me the javascript-code from the (perfektly working page) chronoengine page? That will be great.
Than I can check my validate.js

Thanks
Mac

Hi Mac,

If the DEFAULT Joomla 1.5.9 registration page is not working fine at your site then there is a problem which can't be solved by replacing some code, I think there is some conflict with another script you installed at your website maybe ?

Hi Mac,

I think that the code here is just standard Joomla - If you use FireBug in FireFox you can easily check and copy it.
