Hi Mauro,
Whats the URL in the browser when you get this error ? do you have the module installed and enabled when you get this error ?

The url is:
For the module, I have it published (and enabled) only on frontpage.
http://www.flctrieste.it/index.php?option=com_chronocomments&task=verify&vid=CCYmE1MDZiZWJlMGJl

Hi,
Sorry but I have been busy with the new release for the forms!
lets try to open this URL while the module is completely unpublished, do you still get the same error ?
please let me know!
Regards
Max

I've tried to unpublish the module, but the error remains.
Trying something different, I switched to another template... and the problem disappears!
So, the error is inside the YooTheme Pinboard template, but I cannot figure out how to get a workaround.

Hi Mauro4TS,
Most likely the theme also has a loadcomment() function. The answer would be to rename one of them - You'd need to find each place the occur in the extension and change them consistently.

Ok, solved!
The problem was in an article into a module always published in the header position.
It seems you can not get a correct verification when there are simultaneously published articles.
The solution?
Because the verification link brings to an "unassigned" page, I simply published the module in every header position selecting all the options with "Select Menu Item(s) from the List" in "Menu Assignment". This prevents publishing in an "unassigned" menu position! 😀
Best regards!

Hello,
I have the same error message, Fatal error: Cannot redeclare loadcomment() (previously declared in /home/xxx/public_html/components/com_chronocomments/chronocomments.php:235) in /home/xxx/public_html/plugins/content/ChronoComments.php on line 286. I have verified that what was found before, if you have articles published in module positions, then the verify link comes up with this error. If you unpublish the modules with articles, then the verification link works.
What I don't understand from the solution above is how it was solved. I currently have the 2 modules which display the articles and they are set to display on All pages. I am not using the ChronoComment module, I didn't have it installed. I tried installing the ChronoComment module on all pages and that didn't help, I still get the Fatal error if I have my article modules published.
Is there a way to have chronoComment work when you have modules which contain articles? I like that ChronoComments is quite simple yet does the job nicely, but I can't have it producing fatal errors when people go to verify.
Joomla 1.5.10, ChronoComments 1.2, mod_placehere 1.0.1 (this is the module I am using to display the articles).
Second question is about template overrides. I wanted to re-order the fields and move the submit button to the left. Normally, I would use a template override to do that sort of thing. Copy the templates I want to modify to my template's html folder, but this didn't work for com_chronocomment. Is there any reason why it shouldn't work?
Thank you.

Hi ljk,
This is solvable - but requires changes in the core code to move the function into a helper file that is olnly loaded once.
I don't think Max worked through the implications of multiples forms using the plugin inside modules :-(
Should be possible in the next release or two.

I have the exact same problem. It says solved and I read the posts several times and tried everything unpublishing modules that use articles, unpublishing the comments module, still no luck.
Can you guys post what exactly you did to solve this issue???
It says solved on the top but no real solution.
here is the error I get:
