Problems using anti-spam

I'm trying to put the anti spam feature on my form. I have it enabled, and put the {imageverification} syntax on my form. I get the following error:

Fatal error: session_start() [<a href='function.session-start'>function.session-start</a>]: Failed to initialize storage module: user (path: /tmp) in /home/content/o/l/a/olamina/html/components/com_chronocontact/chronocontact.php on line 200

Is there something else I need to do in order to make this work? I do have SEF enabled on my site...does this make a difference.

is this a Joomla 1.0.x site ? if so then please contact your host admin about this error since its more related to your server config!

No...this is joomla 1.5.8 site

Which Chronoforms version do you have ? make sure its V3.0 and you can try to go to your joomla global config and change "session handler" to "database"

I have version 2.5 of chronoforms. I guess I need version 3.0. Do I need to remove version 2.5 first before I install 3.0?

yes but you will need to copy your forms data some where first, you can't backup and restore, you must copy the forms code and settings and remake them on V3.0
