Problem with Internet Explorer

macone 09 Feb, 2009
Hi!
I use ChronoComments on my first joomla site. Everything worked well, but after a week and the installation of other plugins someone told me, that it doesn't work with IE. I tried it and when you press the "submit comment" button there comes the "Object doesn’t support this property or method" error. In firefox everything is OK.
I searched this forum, deinstalled some plugins but it still doesn't work.

Here's the page: http://www.maconefilms.de/go

Thank's for your answers!

Hi macone,

You have three JavaScript framework libraries loading - two copies of MooTools and one JQuery, this pretty much guarantees JavaSCript conflicts. I'm a bit surprised that it works in FireFox.

OK, but what can I do? Where do I have to change something? I have no idea where this stuff comes from.

Thanks for the fast answer.

Hi macone,

You can tell pretty much from the folders there.

media/system/js is the default Joomla 1.5 MooTools install

plugins/content/bot_mb/js is I think the MultiMedia Box PlugIn

templates/maconefilmsX is presumably your site template

Thank you, it works now. Just had to deactivate the MultiMedia Box plugin which I didn't use anyway.
