Hi, I've been using this component for a little while and I'm very pleased with the outcome, there are only a few things that I would like to see added and most of them have probably been suggested before in these forums before
#1 : Insert a class on a comment from the original poster (and maybe moderators too) to be able to style them slightly differently (f.ex. class="comment-item byuser bypostauthor ..."). It's very useful for users to see comments from the author (and moderators) quickly especially if the site is being used as a personal blog and portfolio.
#2 : use real name instead of username for registered users
#3 : hide name/email input fields for registered users
#4 : Disable commenting on old articles, ability to set grace period (frustrating to see people commenting on months/years old articles/blogs)
#5 : don't load all the chronocomments assets on pages that don't have commenting enabled (decreases the loading time of the front page for example)
#6 : Ability to add smilies (they enhance the user experience of commenting in many situations)
looking forward to the next release of this great component. Keep up the good work!
Regards Valur
