Form not submitting no error though...

HI theoneandonly,

Please see the Tutorial on Emails in the DownLoad area here - there's also a FAQ on 'My Emails don't send'

Ok, that helped me get a simple one field form to send. I didn't enable each individual email field.

But what about in a longer form like this,
http://www.thestlnightlife.com/index.php?option=com_chronocontact&chronoformname=TheSTLNightlife_Girl

It says it submitted it in debug mode, it just doesn't really send it. All settings same as the one field form as far as I know.

This one works,
http://www.thestlnightlife.com/index.php?option=com_chronocontact&chronoformname=tester

Thanks for the help!

Hi theoneandonly,

# An email has been SENT successfully from (Applicant)applicant@thestlnightlife.com to zenicanin@gmail.com

That message means that ChronoForms sent the message to the Joomla mailer and got an 'OK' message back.

There are some known problems using CC & BCC fields with the PHP Mailer - otherwise this should work OK.

I didn't use CC or BCC fields. Maybe in FROM field, the actual e-mail has to be a valid one? Cause I just put one I want to display, it's not a real e-mail? :?

Hi theoneandonly,

Some ISPs check the domain of the From email and aill reject the email if the domain does not match the site domain.

Bob ~

Where do I find the CC issues . . . and hopefully a work-around? So far, the only solution that I've found is creating two separate emails . . .

I hope to use Chronoforms for a project, and any help is greatly appreciated. Thx!!! 😀

Hi deborahSusan,

The only workaround that I know of at the moment is to use SMTP Mailer (or possibly Sendmail) as the mailing method for your site. If you are using the PHP Mail Function option then some (possibly all) CC & BCC mails are simply not sent.

Thanks for the help, Bob.

I turns out gmail was putting all the emails in the spam folder. 😈 Everything works fine now! Thanks again!
