i go into admin - chronoforms - and i see the list of my forms then i click on one and i see the edit area for a split second then it disappears ... i need a cure?

Sorry I have no idea. I'm guessing that this is either a JavaScript or a template issue but don't have any way of telling more than this. Have you tried a different browser?
