CC shows only last comment, not all

siddartha-x 12 Jan, 2009
Hi,

hope, i´m in the right place. I´m using joomla 1.5.8 on my blog.
The problem, that i have, is that CC shows only the last comment instead all of it. In the backend, there are 3 comments and all comments are verified and published. You can see in "Last Comments" (Frontend) that they are 3 comments. You can click and read each comment individually from there, but if you click on the content Link X-perience, CC shows only the last comment. Same Problem with IE, Firefox and Opera.

module parameters:

Number of comments: 1000
limit body text: 50
Limit Sections: empty
Limit Categories: empty
Order: ascending

see it, by your own: http://siddartha-x.de

please tell me, how or what to do, to see all comments in frontend.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Max,

thanks for quick replying. Please be patient, i´m a newbie to joomla and all that. :-)
i don´t know, if i get your question right. i tell it, how i understand it.
Module or hole component? Hmm,...

Module and component seems to work right, at the first sight.
In the component manager (backend), i see three comments, wich is true. they are verified and published.
everything seems ok in the backend.
So in module, too, seems everything ok.
But somehow, it doesn´t work right in the frontend. It shows only the last comment, instead of all.

What i need is, to show in my blog (in the frontend, which users can read my articles), ALL the comments listed, NOT ONLY THE LAST. :-)

I have some screenshots for you. Hope it helps to understand.

Thanks in advance :-)

Hi siddartha-x,

good screenshots, so I see the component or the plugin are not working fine BUT, are you sure that the 3 comments you posted was for the same article ???

Hi Max,

yes I´m sure. definitely same article. believe me. :-)

it was like:
1. a friend wrote a comment
2. i wrote a reply to this comment
3. another friend wrote a new comment

all for the same article. definitely :-)

thanks in advance
