After checking my site and wondering why an error was popping up sometimes and not all the time, I realized I had two links to get to the database. One link was created through the Joomla admin by clicking on "New->Connectivity->etc." and the other was created as an "External Link" with the url given in the Connectivity Form Management view.
The link created through the specific connectivity menu item gets abbreviated to yoursite.com/something/alias format and then choosing different options from the pagination dropdown, then going to another page number, causes a 404 error. This does not happen when the "External Link" is visited to begin with. By clicking on the link created with the "External Link" function, the url seems to work fine and all pages are viewable.
I have this on:
Joomla 1.5.8, standard Joomla SEF (no extra plugins)
MySQL 5+
PHP 5.2.8
ChronoForms 3.0 stable (downloaded Jan. 4th)
ChronoConnectivity 1.2 (downloaded Jan. 4th)
Applied following patches:

I didn't try Joomla 1.5.8 SEF yet but creating a menu item of type "Connectivity" and then adding the connection name at the right side box will make a good SEF link, look at our FAQs page here, its done this way! I will test any new releases with the latest Joomla version though!

That's what I had tried and it was causing the issue. The initial url was nice and worked, but using the pagination was causing the 404 pages.
Strange, I will test with 1.5.8 when I get sometime and solve it in a new release!

Up to you, if it's working OK without SEF URls then the problem is probably with the SEF URL configuration. Try turning them off for ChronoConnectivity and ChronoForms.

Wow! I must be honest Grey that this is not the answer I was looking for. I was at least hoping that you were going to tell me that you would look in to the problem and see why this might be happening....

So we can essentially say that ChronoConnect ONLY works 100% if SEF is disabled? Cause Pagination is a huge part of record set viewing and without it, it is only 50% of a product. Therefore, DO NOT use if SEF is enabled...

What SEF are you running? Just the standard Joomla SEF? That 'should' work OK as far as I know but I haven't tested recently. If you are using sh404SEF or Ace SEF then you can set it to skip selected components. (Someone recently posted an sh440SEF plugin for CF & CC too.)

I am using the standard SEF from joomla. Pagination isnt working when SEF is enabled.
This is happening on my install too (standard Joomla SEF) - works great with SEF turned off; however, I can't turn it off!🙂
We are using this to edit a table with over 3000 records so being able to use pagination would be nice.
Is any progress on this being made?

I just discovered that it works with standard Joomla SEF as long as you do not change the limit selector before changing pages. If you change the limit selector first it will take you to an empty page. To solve this problem I'm just going to add this to the header section in chronoconnectivity (to remove the limit selector):
