Getting the form to Email me

My level of Joomla/Programming understanding: basic!

Hi there,

I am having a big problem with getting Chronoforms to Email me submitted forms. I am assuming that I haven't done something correctly and have been told that I may need to do something to a PHP module on my host to allow for it to work? The problem is that I have no experience with PHP and don't know what I need to do. To add to it I am borderline dyslexic and struggle with coding. I am hoping that somebody can guide me through the install process to get the forms up and working.

My website is one for a business startup. I currently work on my own and am trying to get a decent website together to impress investors! In the past I have been told by people (particularly in Joomla IRC Chat) that I should pay the guys there to help - this is not possible because I have very little money of my own due to personal circumstances. My business plan is my plan to get out of struggling financially! Although I cannot pay for any support right now, anyone that stays in touch and offers to help with the website and can do a competent job will be offered further paid software/website design work within the business as way of thanking them and out of loyalty.

With regard to Chronoforms, so far I have installed it and got it working to the extent I have built and displayed the form - just can't get it to send. The redirection works - no errors come up, the form just never arrives in my inbox.

Thanks for reading this and please help - I am at a complete standstill because of it! Happy new year!

Hi bgareth,

Plese click the FAQ button above and check FAQ 36 'My Emails aren't being sent'. If you have a ReDirect URL set please remove this temporarily as otherwise you will not see the DeBug info.

Please ask here again if this doesn't help.
