Hello Friends,

I'm new to this forum and looking forward to all the expertise provided on here. I'm a designer and have recently taken on Joomla as my preferred CMS of choice for web development. I've stumbled onto a job that requires a web form that will use registration capabilities and in addition requires a reservations form that will allow for the end user the ability to process their order via authorize.net or paypal or both.

Is this possible using chronoforms? we'd like to allow the user the ability to store their credit card information for future use but do not have the luxury of SSL which is why I figured authorize.net or paypal would be the most obvious choices for this type of form. How much would something like this cost? Is there anyone on the forums that have something similar or maybe there's an already existing module that i'm overlooking like jomres or something catering to car service reservations?

You could do a booking form with ChronoForms using the Joomla Registration and Authorize.net plugins, it's a pretty straightforward application. PayPal payment can fairly easily be added, though IPN confirmation hasn't yet been done - though it's possible with a little code hacking.

Technically you can save any information for future use but saving credit card information is illegal or unauthorised in some countries and it's simpler to hand all that off to a payment gateway.

Thank you for the insight on what could be accomplished and I definitely agree that storing credit card information would not be a wise thing to do. It can be set up that their registration process stores all other information and when requireed (visit again) for services, they may enter this information?

How much would something like this cost me? I am in no way suited to accomplish this. I have sent you the reservations form (via pm) I created using another form software because chrono was a bit challenging for me. Could you help me with this?
