Email for username?

Hi there,
Is there anyone out there that can replace the username with email addres in Joomla using chronoforms? If not, i was thinking to simply hide the username field and auto populate the Username field with the email address of the user entered. In either case I would need to hire someone to make this possible? Anyone?

Do you have a registration form using Chronoforms ? does the registration process work now or you need to start from scratch ?

Sorry for the delay. What i have is this... I have a form that already works for registration. I got that part figured out and all is ok with that, but I would prefer to remove "Username" option from the registration form and simply have email address and password.

Ok, i got it figured out. It may be a workaround... I made a registration form using only email address and Password. I connected my form to the Joomla Registration plugin, and used my "Email" field for both "Username" and "Email". It all seems to works!

My next step is getting the additional data in my form to submit to the db I created to connect to. I have enabled Data Storage, and selected a table, but when i click submit on my form it shows success, and the registered user shows up in the Joomla Registration, but I do not see my additional data when i click on the table name.

Can anyone assist me with this. Thanks. :?

try to disable the plgin from the plugins tab and try the form again, do you get data stored ?
