New field data store joomla registration table

We have create registration form using ChronoForms technology. We have added extra fields in the form ( like : age, sex, dob ) .

Please help How do store that data in joomla jos_users table.

Hi, enable the Joomla registration plugin under the plugins tab then save the form, then check it and click the Joomla registration plugin link at the forms management area, fill the fields correctly and save!

Yes, we have used joomla registration plugin. that plugin contain certain fields like emai,name,username,passeord.

We have used correctly. that fields are store in database. But we have added the extra fields like sex, age etc., that fields do not store in database.

We have created field separate in database.

How do store the data in joomla jos_users table.

Please help me...

Hi gunasundarn,

It's not sensible to store extra data in the jos_users table as that may change if you upgrade Joomla.

Save it in a separate table as you have - along with the user id. The you can join information from both tables in your application.
