Hello,

i'm creating a job offers website and i need a custom registration form because i have 2 groups, Jobseekers and Employers, i want the visitor to chose if he his jobseeker or employer in order to be placed automatically to his group when he click on submit bouton. is that possible with chrono engine ?

Yes, but you will need to write the code to make it happen, there is no automatic Group selection in CF.

Thank you for your fast reply Greyhead, i like your nickname 🙂 , the problem is i don't have any programation skills, i need to plug a subsicription system for paypal so visitors will be registred as jobseekers or employers, can you help me find extentions that can do that ? or refer me to some one who could do it realy fast and i'm gonna pay for that

i forgot to say that without assigning groups from the registration form is there a way to upgrade to a user groupe using paypal or 2checkout ? if yes what exetention i will use ? thank you

You've got quite a task there. Joomla Access Control isn't the easiest thing in the world. I'd suggest that you go look for a extension that will do this for you. There's a pretty good list in this Joomla Forums post. I've used the equivalent of JoomaSuite for Joomal 1.0 and I think that woudl do it (I haven't used the 1.5 version which has changed quite a bit).

I'm sure that Max or I could write you a custom version for a fee. I can't do anything until the end of next week - you can contact Max by PM or through the contact form here. But I'd suggest that you take a good look at the available extensions first.
