[SOLVED] Help html codes in validation.js

alexzr 17 Oct, 2008

I have translated the validation.js messages to portuguese, but i coundnt make it accents to be displayed right.

if i use non html code like 'áéóã...' i get a small square in plce of the letter. thats because joomla uses utf-8 codification
if i use html code like áç the codes are being printed on screen and not what the code means that would be á and ç;

Does anyone have a suggestion??

Ps. Sorry for my poor english.

i´ve found the problem i had to save the validation.js file in utf-8 format, this solved my problem.
