How edit records stored in the database

mar.mack 14 Oct, 2008
Hi,
I just discovered ChronoForm and ChronoConnectivity.
They are great, and really simple to use.

I combined the 2 products, to obtain in frontpage : a list of records stored in database and a form to add new ones.
But I don't find, in front page, how to edit records (I've tried to do as in the tutorial for administration, but it don't work)

I would like, also
• change order (in front, not in ChronoConnectivity connection...)

  • filter results
  •
Thanks for your help.

    It's shame.
I hope, this will soon available.🙂

As the possibility to use users which have an acount on website in a drop down list. (I think it could be possible whith with php code, but i don't know how...)

Thank for your answer and your work, I really enjoy this extensions, despite of its lacks.

    Hi mar.mack,

adding those functions in the frontend wll raise more concerns, Connectivity has them in admin area now, I will try to get the same in frontend too, not easy as you may expect if we are coding for a non known table column/structure..etc, as you can see the component should work with any kind of table/data.

    Regards,

Why don't you try (only... i know, that's not so simple) combine the possibility of your 2 extensions by loading directly in a form of chronoform, records from database shown by chronoconnectivity.

Usages of your extensions are differents but complementary.

    Hi mar.mack,

to give the records load feature all what it deserves and make it better, we need a standalone component or this would make Chronoforms more complicated and too many users already find it complicated, we care for those users who only get Chronoforms to create a very simple one contact form too.

    Cheers
