Hello, I feel very stupid that I cant even complete the tutorial--I cant seem to send the tutorial email. In your FAQs, I made sure that I can email an article, which works, but I cant seem to send a form. I get this message from the DEBUG:

_POST: Array ( [text_1] => evan [text_2] => [email]evanmmann@aol.com[/email] [undefined] => Submit [77fd01763de7ef09cf0711bb4a99efba] => 1 )

I've also attached a screen shot

I'm running 1.5.7 on PHP 5

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi emann,

The message in your screenshot says that a message has been successfuly sent. This means that - as far as Joomla can tell - a message was delivered to your mailserver.

Please check your aol spam folder - that's the most likely place for it to end up. If you don't find it there, please try a non-aol email address as they may just have decided to delete it.

I tried it without an aol address and the email still does not pass thru. Does ChronoForm need to work with PHP Mail, sendmail or SMTP set up in Global configuration?
I'm wondering if this is the problem...

Yes, CF uses the Joomla email setup.

you can post to your host admin too asking him for some email has went out of the server or not, you can check logs, this may show you where the problem is exactly!

and you can try to switch to sendmail too and see.

Thanks everyone for your help--this is a really good forum! Good idea--I did go to my server hosting company and checked the logs--and found out that CF was working fine--my company email address were being refused by my company's mail server!!
