Hello Max,
We are using ChronoForms 8 on Joomla 6 and have occasionally experienced issues with our registration/intake form and contact form.
On several occasions, submitted form data was missing from email notifications or submissions did not appear to be processed correctly.
Unfortunately, we have been unable to reproduce these issues consistently.
Our registration form originally used multiple pages. We have now converted it into a single-page form, both in our test environment and on our live website.
Recent tests of both forms have been successful:
- All submitted data was correctly received and stored (Log Data).
- Email notifications and confirmations were delivered correctly.
- Debug showed successful email execution (
status => true). - The most recent live registration was also processed correctly.
We would appreciate your advice:
- Are you aware of any intermittent data-processing issues in ChronoForms 8, particularly with multi-page forms?
- Could session handling or the order of form actions explain this behaviour?
- What would you recommend checking or logging if the problem occurs again?
Since these forms are important for our customer registrations and enquiries, we would like to ensure their reliability without making unnecessary changes.
Thank you for your assistance.
Kind regards,Gina KosterAmplitudo Groeistudio
Hi Gina
We are not aware of any issues, but few users reported something similar which can "usually" be fixed by turning OFF the settings shown below, it's under the form settings area in the form editing page.
if this fixes your multipage intermittent issues then please report back.
Do you have any security fields on the forms ? what happens when you test the form yourself ?
