Working on preview page in backend but not working in frondend.

Hi, Team,

I'm struggling with an issue and need your assistance. The website is a Joomla CMS one which I setup by deploying a template containing ChronoForm 8 as the application form part.

I use Google SMTP and applied Google reCAPTCHA as well.

In stage site, I verified the function of application form from time to time after I set everything correctly and it never failed  if I remember it correctly.

The issue started after I migrated it to production with another domain.

The first symptom I noticed was that while I was trying to send email via application form page, it ended without showing email-being-sent-out-successfully prompt which is a pretty-looking, well-designed image. And the receipt email received nothing.

Joomla-based website has a contact page, which after correctly setting is able to send email to contact's email.

I tried it and it worked properly. Over the past days, tried it several times and it never fails.

At least, it proves that the setting of SMTP and Google reCAPTCHA are correct, and my test emails which are always simple, sometimes just a few words, are not identified as spam or fraud.

Even in the preview page provided by ChronoForm in Joomla backend, sending email is working well.

However, in frontend, via the application form page, the sending email function doesn't work.

During the test period, it might only sent out 1 or 2 emails.Anyone can help? Or share some ideas?

Would it be possible that it has something to do with the new domain name? I haven't set any SPF and DKIM etc.

Thank you in advance.

Hi Charles

Strong apologies for the late reply.

You need to enable the form debug and check if the debug reports the email is sent or not, this is explained here:

You should also test the form in the admin area preview, does it work there ?
