You are not allowed to access this URL

torrymills 28 Sep, 2008
Hello All,
I've read through several posts on this forum that were trying to deal with this same error message "You are not allowed to access this URL" once the "post" button is clicked. I am still having trouble getting it to work and I am out of ideas.

I've tried linking directly to the form and testing it and I have also tried using the form inside an article using the article {chronocontact}Event_Request{/chronocontact}.

Can someone help me determine the steps I need to use to avoid the error message?

I'm using Joomla 1.5.7
Component: Chrono Contact Enabled 3.0 STABLE 17.09.2008 Chronoman
Module: mod_chronocontact Site 1.1.0 Sep 2008 ChronoEngine.com
Plugin: chronocontact content 0.8/V3.0 Stable 20 Sep 2008 Chrono_Man

I have used an earlier version of chronoforms (2.5 J1.5 RC3.1) on a different website (joomla 1.5.6) and I did not encounter these problems, so I can only assume I have set up something incorrectly with the new version of chronoforms.

My form is here: http://new.mountainviewaz.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=120&Itemid=133

Any help is appreciated.

Regards,
Torry

Hi torrymills,

I just did a check and as far as I can see he phrase "You are not allowed to access this URL" doesn't appear anywhere in the standard Joomla or ChronoForms code. Do you have some SEF extentsion installed that might be giving the message?

Hi Torry, please try to disable the captcha image and see if this fixes it ? is this the stable version without any edits/hacks you made ? do you have any plugins installed at joomla ?

cheers

Hi Bob and Max,
Thanks for responding. I disabled the captcha images and that did not fix it. I also have not installed any hacks or edits. There is a plugin enabled for "System- SEF" enabled, but that came with Joomla as far as I know. I have not installed any SEF extensions. I tried disabling it and resubmit the form, but that did not work either. I have attached a screen shot of the plugins I have installed and enabled.

Thanks again,
Torry

Please try to disable all the YOO plugins and the wysiwyg pro and xstandard plugins too, all those are 3rd party ones, then retest and let me know!

This is very strange, can I get some temporarily admin access to your website to check this ?

@Torry, you have a </form> tag in your HTML code breaks the Chronoform checking, once you remove this tag everything will be fine!

@bruno, check the same problem with you!

Hi dbart, it seems that you are using CF V3.0 stable with an older version of the mambot, please get the Chronoforms mambot V0.8 and it will fix this issue!
