Email doesn't work

How to fix ChronoForms not sending emails when Joomla mailer works.

The issue occurs when the email settings in ChronoForms do not match the Joomla global configuration.
Ensure the From, reply, and recipient details in ChronoForms match the Joomla settings exactly, then enable form debug to verify the email information.

Hello

Chronoforms isn't sending emails. I'm using Joomla with the PHP mailer. This works perfectly; the emails arrive.

However, when I add a "Mail" action in Chronoforms and enter the correct email address, I don't receive any emails.

What could be the reason for this?

P.S.: The SMTP option in Joomla doesn't work with any email address. The security policies of the email providers prevent this.

Hi Christoph

ChronoForms will use the default Joomla mailer, if the email does not arrive then make sure the Email settings in ChronoForms match those in the Joomla Global Configuration

This means the From & reply info should be the same, the Recipient should also be the same

You can enable the form Debug and check what info is being used for the Email
